There are times when you will want to copy and paste dog names from sources that use a different format than poodlepedigree.com, i.e. all UPPERCASE and you will need to change that information to Title Case. Often online catalogs contain the dog names in UPPERCASE.
If you have the AKC Registration number you can use that to get the proper format.. just copy/paste from the AKC db. If all you have is the name then you will have to reformat the text.
You will need Microsoft Word or a word processor software that will let you change case.
First open a new document in word.
Then do a select all on the information you are going to be using.....
Then do a ctrl c to copy the data to your clipboard. Then put your cursor in new Word document you created and do a ctrl v to paste that information into the word document.
Now you will go to edit in Word and do a select all... then you will go to format and click on change case...make sure the lowercase option is selected. Click ok
Everything should still be selected... go back to format and click on change case and select Title Case and click ok.
Then all your data will be ready to copy and past. The first two letters of the registration number may not be in the correct format...i.e. Pr09090909 but since you are going to go to the AKC Store and check on the Registration number and spelling of the dog's name you can copy and past the correct format from the AKC.
